Structure-rich muesli for increased energy and protein needs
Active & Protein is a fiber-rich and healthy muesli as a daily supplement to roughage. This muesli contains all the vitamins and minerals a horse needs and has a high energy, protein, and fat content to support optimal performance. It's especially suitable for horses that are intensively trained or have a (temporary) increased need for energy and protein. Active & Protein contains a high level of protein-rich fiber from lupine flakes and alfalfa, among other ingredients, to support digestion. The combination of these fibers, a high linseed oil content, and prebiotics provides an increased energy supply and supports muscle tissue during intensive exercise.

Supplementing OerBalans?
You can! To achieve the correct vitamin and mineral levels, it is necessary to feed the full recommended dose of muesli. Do you prefer to feed less muesli? Then it is useful to supplement with a balancer such as OerBalans to still provide all the essential vitamins and minerals. You can then offer this in a lower dose. Also, Active & Protein does not contain the wide variety of herbs that OerBalans does! A good reason to add OerBalans to the ration.

Feeding advice
The stated amount of Active & Protein is a guideline for your horse's daily needs. The recommended daily feeding depends on the horse's needs, the level of exertion, the quality of the roughage and, for example, pasture access. Active & Protein is suitable for adult horses. One full Vitalstyle Feed Scoop is equivalent to 930 g Active & Protein.
Moderate to intensive work: 300 g – 500 g per 100 kg body weight per day.
