Vitalstyle Muesli Senior & Balance

Fiber-rich mash and muesli mix for older horses. Senior & Balance is a fiber-rich and healthy mash and muesli in one as a daily supplement or (partial) replacement of roughage. The mash and muesli mix is ​​rich in all the vitamins and minerals an older horse needs. It contains high-quality, highly digestible, and easy-to-chew fibers such as timothy and lupine flakes with sufficient protein and energy as an optimal supplement to the specific needs of older horses. Senior & Balance is specially developed for senior horses that have difficulty chewing and therefore struggle to maintain a healthy weight. It contains antioxidants, essential amino acids, healthy omega-3 fatty acids from seaweed and extra vitamin E. It supports resistance and the maintenance of condition.
Senior & Balance has a low sugar and starch content and is free from grains, molasses and soy.

Supplementing OerBalans?
You can! To achieve the correct vitamin and mineral levels, it is necessary to feed the full recommended dose of muesli. Do you prefer to feed less muesli? Then it is useful to supplement with a balancer such as OerBalans to still provide all the essential vitamins and minerals. You can then offer this in a lower dose. Also, Senior & Balance does not contain the wide variety of herbs that OerBalans does! A good reason to add OerBalans to the ration.

Alfalfa: Structural, healthy source of protein.
Pea flakes: A good source of protein.
Linseed oil: Rich in fatty acids and supports digestion.
Linseed expeller: Rich in fibre and is good for digestion.
Oligosaccharides: Contains prebiotic fibres.
Timothy: A structurally rich and palatable grass that encourages horses to chew better. Contains a low sugar content.
Seaweed: Rich in healthy omega-3 fatty acids.

Feeding advice
The indicated amount of Senior & Balance is a guideline for your horse's daily needs. The daily feeding recommendation depends on the horse's needs, the level of exertion, the quality of the roughage and, for example, pasture access. Senior & Balance is suitable for older horses. One full Vitalstyle Feed Scoop is equivalent to 950 g Senior & Balance.

As a supplement to roughage: 200 g - 400 g per 100 kg body weight per day.
As a (partial) replacement of roughage*: 800 g - 1000 g per 100 kg body weight per day.

*To increase the volume of the feed and extend the feeding time, we recommend soaking Senior & Balance in (lukewarm) water for a few minutes. Mix approximately 100 g Senior & Balance with 250-300 ml water.
