Product Details

Structural muesli for pregnant mares, foals, and young horses. Young & Breed is a fiber-rich and healthy muesli as a daily supplement to roughage. It is rich in all the vitamins and minerals a pregnant or lactating mare, foal, or young horse needs. It contains a high protein and energy content to support milk production, healthy weight, and balanced growth and development. Specifically for mares during pregnancy and lactation, foals, and young horses up to approximately 3 years old. Young & Breed contains an optimal calcium/phosphorus ratio, important for building strong bones. The combination of the high content of protein-rich fibers (from lupine flakes and alfalfa, among others), linseed oil and prebiotic fibers support digestion.
Young & Breed has a low sugar and starch content and is free from grains, molasses and soy.

When to use Young & Breed?
- For pregnant and lactating mares
- For foals and young horses up to approx. 3 years old
- Suitable for all horse breeds due to the low sugar and starch content

Supplementing OerBalans?
You can! To achieve the correct vitamin and mineral levels, it is necessary to feed the full recommended dose of muesli. Do you prefer to feed less muesli? Then it is useful to supplement with a balancer such as OerBalans to still provide all the essential vitamins and minerals. You can then offer this in a lower dose. Young & Breed also does not contain the wide variety of herbs that OerBalans does! A good reason to add OerBalans to the ration. Foals may also have OerBalans as soon as they can chew pellets.
