BR Bridle Plymouth II with an Adjustable Noseband Black/Silver

This symmetrical bridle made of high-quality European leather has an E-Line headpiece. This anatomically shaped headpiece is softly padded and, thanks to its round shape, provides extra freedom behind the horse's ears. The browband features two rows of large Swarovski® crystals and is lined with soft leather. The throat latch is adjustable on both sides. Both the throatlatch and cheekpieces are made of rolled leather. The cheek pieces have blind closures. The bridle has a wide, combined crank noseband (approx. 4 cm) with patent leather. The noseband is rounded, softly lined and provided with a wide, softly padded jaw protector. Thanks to the anatomical shape, more space is created for the bit rings. The bridle has a V-shaped flash strap loop and the buckle of the flash strap has an extra protective flap. The bridle is equipped with shiny, silver-colored fittings made of chrome-plated brass. The purpose of a flash noseband:
The most famous noseband is the combined noseband, which consists of a high & low noseband. The low noseband, also called a flash strap, prevents the mouth from opening up and ensures stability of the bit. This construction is designed to maintain the effect of a low noseband but also to have the option of attaching a fixed martingale. Without a flash strap, only a high noseband remains. The high part of the noseband should be placed about two fingers below the cheekbone. The point where both nosebands meet should never be on the soft part of the nose.
