Symmetric bridle with softly lined headpiece. The curved, patent leather browband is round and softly padded. The extra wide, combined velcro strap (approx. 4.5 cm) with patent leather is round-shaped, softly lined and provided with a wide, soft padded jaw guard. The purpose of a combined noseband:
The most famous noseband is the combined noseband consisting of a high & low noseband. The low noseband, also known as a belt, prevents the mouth from opening and ensures stability of the bit. This construction has been devised to preserve the effect of a low noseband but also to have the option of attaching a fixed martingale. Without a belt, only a high noseband remains. The high part of the noseband should be placed about two fingers under the cheekbone. The point where both nose straps come together should never be on the soft part of the nose.
