PUUR Cranberry Dog and Cat

Pure Nature Cranberry Dog and Cat 90 Capsules.
To support a healthy bladder and urinary tract in dogs and cats.

Composition (per capsule):
275 mg Cranberry extract 25: 1 and 27.5 mg Vitamin C (as L-Ascorbic acid). Microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide.

About the components:
Cranberry (Large Cranberry) is a very sour berry. It was long assumed that it was the acidity of this berry that created an unfavorable environment for bacteria in the bladder. However, research has shown that this effect is based on a different mechanism. It is mainly the red dyes, proanthocyanidins, from Cranberrys that prevent the bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall. As a result, bacteria do not get the chance to multiply: they get peeed out before they can cause problems. The degree of concentration is of great importance at Cranberry. Many cranberry-based supplements contain something of the berry, but not enough to have a powerful effect. For this reason, a complete choice was made for 1: 25 in Cranberry, which means that a kilo of extract was obtained from 25 kg of cranberry, which is very concentrated. Vitamin C (as L-Ascorbic acid) makes the urine more acidic and the environment for bacteria in the bladder even more unattractive.

Dosage:
- Optimal dosage is administered once a day.
- If this is not possible, 1x per day or 1x per 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum daily dose.
- Dog: 1 3 capsules.
- Cat: 1 capsule.

Administration:
Can be given by the food. The capsules can be opened to be mixed well with the food. Moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the food bowl.
The capsules can also be given in something tasty, for example cheese or sausage. If the dog does not like the product, the powder can be given by some meat or yogurt.
With cats it can be given by some meat.
If the animal does not like it, mix Pure Nature Cranberry with a tiny bit through the food and then build up the dosage.

Duration of treatment:
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for several days. With long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, a change can be made to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the indicated dosage on the package. When dosing this product, take a good look at the animal's reaction. In the beginning a higher dosage may be required, this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage. This product can be given permanently. This product can be given permanently in a maintenance dose. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Storage advice:
Avoid direct sunlight and keep this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.

Synergy and combinations with other products:
This product can be used without any problems in combination with other natural health products and regular medicines.

Contraindications:
Always apply during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
