A number of products in the Phytonics series are available in veterinary (blue) and human (green) packaging. Launched in 2010 for animals, the demand for the same products for humans quickly arose. The contents are the same; only the labeling differs due to applicable regulations. In the future, we would like to simplify this and choose either a veterinary or humane label. All ingredients in the Phytonics series are human-grade. The phytotherapeutic products are suitable for any living creature. As a rule of thumb, sensitivity to these products is the same for humans and horses, regardless of their weight. The dosage for adults is the same as for horses. The dosage for children aged 6-12 is suitable for dogs and cats. Of course, supplementation is also required as needed. Carefully monitor the reaction to the drops and adjust the dosage if necessary. Unless a doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise, twice daily for the first week:
< 10 kilos 0.5 grams
10 – 25 kilos 1 gram
25 – 80 kilos 1.5 grams
> 80 kilos 1 scoop 2.5 grams

Reduce the dosage to once a day after the first week. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

The 50 gram scoop in Phytonics Probiotics contains approximately 0.5 grams. The 200 gram scoop in Phytonics Probiotics contains approximately 2.5 grams.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dosage. This product can still be used effectively, but the response may take a little longer.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe your animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely doubled. When improvement occurs, gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose. Some animals may experience a brief worsening or other severe reaction at the start of treatment. In the event of a severe increase, halve the dose or temporarily stop and then gradually increase the dose. Preferably dissolve the powder in lukewarm water, let it sit for fifteen minutes, stir, and then take/give. Preferably on an empty stomach.
