The uvex elexxion Tocsen is the first hybrid riding helmet with an integrated emergency call system, made in Germany. The unique technology combines a Tocsen drop sensor and a smartphone app (Android and iOS). The system automatically detects a fall and asks how the rider is doing. If he does not respond within 30 seconds, the system automatically informs the emergency contacts stored in the app and ensures that they can find the location of the accident. In addition, it is possible to set up the app in such a way that an automatic emergency call is sent to all Tocsen users in the immediate vicinity. In this way, every outdoor athlete who is part of the Tocsen community becomes a potential first aid provider. Of course, the Tocsen app complies with the requirements of the legislation for the protection of personal data, and only uses strictly necessary user data.
