More security is not possible. The uvex exxential II MIPS combines the light weight of an in-mould helmet with the proven Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. The MIPS system was developed in Sweden and is based on the idea of protecting the human brain against twisting movements in the event of an accident. For this reason, in the uvex exxential II MIPS, a movable second shell is mounted between the inner lining and the outer shell in the helmet, which rests directly on the head and can be adjusted in height and width for an optimal fit. Additional safety: When the rider lands at an angle during a fall, the resulting rotational forces are not transferred to the head, but are dissipated by the movements of the MIPS inner shell. In addition, the helmet's ergonomic design with the low-cut helmet shell at the back of the head provides additional impact protection. Particularly clever: the Ponytail-Cut, which makes the helmet considerably more comfortable for riders with long hair.
