Definitely does not provide the protection that is promised.

At the beginning of March, when I started using Tickless, it seemed to work. Six weeks later, 1 of the 3 dogs is really full of ticks, one has a few and the short-haired dog is still tick-free.

I bought 1 but when do I know if it is off or on?

As soon as you take the product into use and pull the strip out, it is on. It can then no longer be turned off. The effect lasts 12 months.
