A hoof consists of 90% proteins. So a deficiency can quickly result in a slower growth, which is why it is very important to properly supply the limiting amino acids methionine and lysine.

MSM also positively affects the hooves as a sulfur deficiency can result in poor horn quality. It provides the flexible connection between the cells in the horny tissue. The horn consists mainly of sulfur-containing keratin, so MSM plays an important role. In addition, it was also decided to add the chelates of zinc, copper and manganese. Zinc is important for the repair and construction of hoof wall cells. It is also an important part of enzymes necessary for the production of keratin and other components that contribute to hoof function and strength. Manganese ensures the health of the internal structures of the hoof. Copper has a significant influence on the strength of the outer hoof wall. Biotin is of course also present in this supplement, as it is responsible for the formation of the hoof wall.
