Neckband shortening

My gelding has a slightly shortened neckband. The Acavallo neck protector takes the pressure off the neckband and keeps it warm without the horse sweating excessively underneath.

problem behind the ears solved with this

A shy pony is very happy with this and putting the Halster and bridle on and off is no longer a problem. Quite a hassle to get it on but totally worthwhile.

Nice soft stuff

Bigger and thicker than I expected, but does the job. You will have to adjust your bridle afterwards. I put him at the headpiece to relieve neck pressure. Does its job well. It was a huge fight to get him to it! You have to wet it so that it becomes a bit “slippery” and then you have to pull the leather through the protector with an included iron wire.

The quality of the gel is not good, I had all points on it, putting it on is difficult, it's quite a thick thing. I wouldn't buy it again.
