Use It on the Skin
This lotion is for treating the skin, not the hair. It's best to start using it as soon as you notice symptoms of chafing, before too much hair has been shed. Instructions

• Thoroughly clean the tail and mane and dry them well.
• Shake TKC 97 lotion vigorously for 30 seconds before application.
• For the mane: apply to both sides of the hair roots and massage well with your fingers.
• For the tail: start about 10 cm above the base and apply to the end of the tail root, massaging gently.
• Shake TKC 97 regularly during application.
• Repeat the treatment whenever new chafing symptoms appear, until your horse is fully recovered.

Important
Store the product at room temperature. Shake the bottle several times before applying the lotion to the skin. Do not let it run down the neck or use it daily. Apply TKC 97 on the full mane and the entire tail skin. The tail tip might always be itchy, but since horses can’t scratch that area, it often seems unaffected.
