Seresto Tick and Flea Collar Small Dog max 8kg

Treatment and prevention of flea and tick infections (Ctenocephalides felis) for 7 to 8 months. The efficacy against fleas starts immediately after applying the collar.

Protects against the development of flea larvae in the immediate vicinity of the animal for 8 months. Seresto can be used as part of a treatment strategy against Flea Allergy Dermatitis (VAD). The product has a persistent acaricide (lethal) efficacy against tick infections (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus) and repellent (anti-feeding) efficacy against tick infection (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for 8 months. It works against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.

It is possible that ticks that were already present on the dog prior to treatment can not be killed within 48 hours after application of the collar and remain attached and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove ticks that are already on the dog at the time of application.

The prevention of infections with new ticks starts within two days after the application of the collar. Treatment of caustic / sucking lice infections (Trichodectes canis).

Ideally, the collar should be applied before the start of the flea or tick season.
