Say hello to the Koltec ST Mushroom Battery Device! This nifty piece of kit is one of the world's top choices when it comes to energizers. Boasting a top voltage of 6,000 Volts and a charging energy of 0.1 Joule, it's got the power you need.

Reliable and Long-lasting
The mechanical heart of this device ensures it keeps ticking for a long time. Suitable for short fences up to around 1 hectare without vegetation, it can handle larger areas too if you use steel or aluminium wire.

Battery Life
Use it for a whole grazing season with a 6 Volt - 510 Wh round Alkaline battery, though keep in mind this battery isn’t included. Just a heads-up, it doesn't play well with 7.5 Volt alkaline batteries. They pack too much punch and can wear out the contact points quickly.

Simple and Effective Testing
If you're measuring the device separately from the fence with a digital voltmeter, you might get a wonky reading. Don't worry, it’s not broken. Just check for a blue spark when you almost short the poles with an insulated wire or screwdriver. If you see that spark, it’s working perfectly.
