Shires' full protection against itching. Creating a barrier against biting insects is one of the first defense mechanisms against itching. This lightweight, breathable blanket has a graze-friendly hood and a super-sized tail flap to keep the body, neck and pollen covered at all times. The fabric also helps protect the horse from the sun, dust and dirt making it an excellent all round summer rug. Features: 600 denier material, an elastic earpiece, rubber lining, chest straps with buckles, deep shoulder pads, belly flap with adjustable straps on both sides, a zip-off strap and integrated leg straps. The fabric offers at least 90% UV protection, preventing sunburn. The effectiveness may decrease over time.
