If you definitely order one...
If you definitely order one size larger, then it may not chafe at the top and bottom. Since they were unfortunately no bigger, I can't test whether it's okay then. For my PRE, who usually always wears size thoroughbred, the length is just right when the Velcro “overlaps” just two fingers wide.

Good and sturdy mask and is very adjustable. In the summer as a grazing mask and in the winter I use the mask as a sand mask.

Scratch injury
The product fits well but I was only able to use it for two days... The velcro scratch for the basket attachment (at the temple) causes friction (it injured my horse).

robust and indestructible
The Flexi-Graser has proven to be very robust and almost indestructible (it has already received a few scratches) and after I have 'extended' it a bit (additional strap over the forehead, as with a dog muzzle), it is also very durable. Since it is my first and (due to change posture) experience with a feeding basket, I rated it 'average'.

My horse is a shocker when it comes to food... likes to always have a mouth full and stomach ache later. That's why he first gets a degree mask on a piece of land; after a few days, he dies again. degree mask is made of nice sturdy material with some flexibility in the material. I covered the holes at the chin with tape so that it chafes less. There is enough left over to be able to eat anyway and not get frustrated.

How big are the differences in pony / cob? Diameter and depth of the mask itself, not the halter.
