France is the first country to introduce a standard for the production of driver airbags (PPE - Personal Protective Equipment). Pending European harmonization, this standard NF S72-800-2022 offers drivers increased protection by regulating the protection area, the inflation rate and requiring more stringent impact tests for the vests.
The EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE airbag, developed by FREEJUMP, is an airbag for Equestrian sport. It is worn close to the body over a thin layer of clothing such as a T-shirt or a thin sweater. This airbag protects vital areas of the rider.
Compatible jackets carry the “Freejump Airbag Technology” sticker.

Activation system:
The gas generator of the EQUITHÈME airbags is the most efficient on the market. It is light and compact.
Reactivation is facilitated by the screw-on and tightening guide cap: easy reactivation and avoiding loss of the cap. The ball attachment clip allows for secure and easy cable placement.
A QR code on the FREEJUMP cartridges allows access to an instructional video on how to reassemble the new cartridge after an accident or accidental activation.

Compatible garments are certified to the AFNOR NF S78-800-2022 standard.
Jackets compatible with the EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE airbag must be marked “FREEJUMP AIRBAG TECHNOLOGY – COMPATIBLE JACKET”.

Cartridges: The AIRSAFE vests are only approved for use with FREEJUMP cartridges. There are 3 sample sizes available:
50CC (For children's sizes S and L)
60CC (For sizes from XXS to L)
85CC (For sizes LT-XL-XXL)
Maintenance and storage:
Do not machine wash or dry clean. Do not submerge in water. It is recommended to hand wash the airbag vest with a sponge and mild soap without rubbing.
Do not tumble dry.
No ironing.
Do not expose the airbag vest to high temperatures (to a radiator, near open flames, in a closed vehicle in direct sunlight).
Do not leave the airbag vest folded or rolled up for long periods of time.
Store the vest on a hanger in a dry, dry place Place in a place protected from moisture.
Note:
The children's airbag vest is suitable for people from 25 kg.
The airbag vest for adults from size XXS is suitable for people from 1.45 m and 35 kg.
