BR D-Ring Combo Comfort 18mm

Brand: BR
This single jointed D snaffle has a plastic mouthpiece with a metal core and stainless steel rings. Thanks to the combination of flexible plastic and high-quality stainless steel, the bits are stable, yet particularly soft and friendly. The plastic has a hardness of 90A and is FDA approved. This means that the material is free of solvents, contains no plasticizers and is non-toxic. The bits can be used for all horses and are extremely suitable for young horses, horses with a sensitive mouth and horses that have difficulty accepting other materials. The bit has a gentle effect on the mouth. The mouthpiece has a thickness of 18 mm and the bit rings have a diameter of 70 mm. A D-ring has D-rings that cannot rotate freely, so aids work more directly. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece is relatively firm in the mouth. Due to the D-shape, the rider cannot pull the bit through the mouth and the horse remains easy to control, making the bit also suitable for young horses. With a double-broken bit, the mouthpiece consists of three parts. The middle part of the mouthpiece lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than a single broken mouthpiece. The thicker the center piece, the more pressure on the tongue.
