The neck protector is beneficial in case of stiff neck, tension headache or whiplash. The neck protector with collar has a "bib" on the front and back. In a whiplash people often think of the cervical vertebrae, but also the upper thoracic vertebrae can contribute to the pain. The protector also covers part of the shoulders. In case of pain in the shoulders or shoulder blades, we recommend using one of our T-shirts with short or long sleeves as an addition. The neck protector was developed in collaboration with Pisksnärten, rehabilitation association for whiplash patients in Uppsala Sweden.
