Hello How does this gaiter work? Should it be put in the fridge? Are they sold in pairs? Thanks for your reply Cdlt

Just soak them in water, ideal for competitions and outings. The microcrystals turn into a cooling gel when soaked in water. The crystals swell in the spaces in the quilted fabric to form a soft gel pad that hugs all parts of the leg when the gaiter is adjusted. Cold compress reduces inflammation, swelling and bruising, cools tendons after exercise and treats tendinitis injuries. Mess-free and reusable. The gel is contained in the padding of the fabric and becomes micro-crystals once dry. The horse remains mobile during treatment. Velcro closures. Set of 2.
