When showing in hand or training a stallion or a horse with plenty of spirit, you want clear, direct contact. A stallion chain gives you that contact. The Velder Horsewear Stallion Chain consists of a chain attached to a flat line with a handle.

Chain with a flat line and handle

You attach the chain section to the headcollar with the swivel trigger clip. The flat line in PP webbing sits securely in the hand and ends in a handle, so you always have a good grip. The chain is 76 cm long and the flat line measures 1.45 m including the handle.

For leading and training only

A stallion chain is an aid for experienced hands, intended for leading, showing in hand and training. Never use it to tie your horse up. For that, choose a regular lead rope, ideally one with a panic snap.

Cleaning and care

Wipe the chain with a dry cloth after use and rinse the line with lukewarm water if it's dirty. Let everything dry thoroughly before putting it away.
