Trust Bit Sweet Iron Loose Ring Bradoon Jointed 12mm

Trust
A short snaffle is used in combination with a dressage bar, so there are two different bits in the horse's mouth at the same time. The rings of a short ring bit are smaller so that there is enough space for the operation of the dressage bar. The bar and snaffle combination is mainly used in higher dressage and is not suitable for an inexperienced rider.
The single-jointed bit has one hinge point, which means that there is less pressure on the tongue than with a double-jointed mouthpiece. A single joint mouthpiece acts mainly on the layers, the side of the tongue and can also act on the palate. A single joint mouthpiece is considered a standard mouthpiece.
The Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron develops surface rust through contact with (air) humidity that tastes sweet and stimulates the saliva production of the horse in a natural way. This will cause the horse to foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit. This rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue color of the TRUST bits to brown-gray.
The bits of TRUST equestrian are typically Dutch. All bits are designed, developed and handmade in the Netherlands. Every day, a team of technical professionals works on production. The bits are composed with the utmost care and made of the best materials. The quality control and standard are therefore very high. With every design, the balance between shape, material and weight is continuously taken into account. The TRUST bits are slightly curved, so that they form better to the horse's mouth. Due to this anatomical shape, the bit lies better in the mouth and the pressure is better distributed. Due to the wide choice of mouthpieces, jaw pieces and materials, TRUST strives to have a suitable bit for every horse.
