Nice hat, color is disappointing

I ordered the rugged earth but received the Skippis Springbrook; nice in itself, because it's more expensive and a bit more luxurious. However, it was very roomy; I usually always have a medium, or even an L, but it was far too big; so take a smaller size. However, I wanted a nice natural color, which then becomes more beautiful over the years, but it has a very strange, slightly purplish color; not what I want. The flexible headband is comfortable.

The hat is at least as beautiful in real life as in the picture. Sits well, even in terms of size, and is indeed flexible (and recovers after bending). Order neatly within the specified time. Good price, especially in combination with a sticker discount.

Is this hat water-repellent?

The hat is water-repellent, but not waterproof. You can make the hat better water-repellent through the use of leather grease.
