Puur Natuur Calendula Ointment Dog/Rabbit/Horse

For wounds / wounds and for dry, flaky skin.

Composition
An extract of Calendula officinalis, Capsella bursa pastoris and Equisetum arvense. Basic cream.
About the components
Calendula officinalis (Marigold flower) contributes to the production of the granulation tissue so that the wound closes in a nice way and scar formation is prevented. Capsella bursa-pastoris (Shepherd's purse) has an astringent effect which is useful for (planed) wounds that heal poorly or as a first aid for bleeding wounds. Equisetum arvense (Heermoes) also has an astringent effect and also has a slightly moisturizing effect. Horsetail is soothing on the skin.
Dosage
Apply 2-3 times a day to the wound surface.
Protect the wound or affected area from abrasion, licking and scratching.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for several days.
With long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement can be transferred to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the indicated dosage on the package. When dosing this product, take a good look at the animal's reaction. In the beginning a higher dosage may be required, this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage. This product can be used permanently.
Storage advice
Avoid direct sunlight and keep this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label.
Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without any problems in combination with other natural health products and regular medicines.
Contraindications
In some cases, Pure Nature Calendula ointment can, due to the stimulating effect on the granulation phase (= recovery phase), cause hypergranulation. The wound fills too quickly with too much new tissue, resulting in the formation of wild meat. Therefore, keep a close eye on the wound during treatment and stop temporarily if it granulates too quickly. In these cases, wait until the wound is properly closed and then start using Pure Nature Calendula ointment again to prevent scarring.
The use of Pure Nature Calendula ointment is, due to the stimulating effect on granulation, not recommended for bleeding or very dry tumors.
