Composition
Diluted extracts of Fallow Nut, Japanese Walnut Tree, Marsh Rosemary and Arnica. Alcohol 35% v/v.
About the ingredients
Broomnut (Strychnos nux-vomica) for better blood circulation in the lower hoof. Japanese nut tree (Ginkgo biloba) The active ingredients ginkgoflavonglycosides, terpene lactones, catechins, oligomeric proanthocyanidins, bioflavonoids, steroids and organic acids have been the subject of extensive research for almost a century. The first investigations took place in 1925. Pharmacological experiments with purified compounds followed a few years later. In 1965 the first standardized extracts appeared in Germany. Specific processing of the crude extract made it possible to significantly increase the content of biologically active substances. Increase up to a factor of 50-100 compared to the raw material was possible (50:1). Using this extract as a basis, experts conducted the first clinical studies into the effectiveness of Ginkgo biloba for peripheral blood flow. Marsh rosemary (Ledum Palustre) Ledum palustre ensures improved waste removal. Ledum also improves blood circulation to the body extremities (including the hoof). Ledum is an important remedy for the extremities. Arnica (Arnica montana) Arnica montana causes the capillaries to dilate, improving blood circulation in the hoof. The literature describes animal studies showing that helenaline and dyhydrohelenaline (sesquiterpenes), among other things, are responsible for this. It is suspected that the relieving effect of the arnica can be explained by inhibiting enzymes that play a role in an inflammatory process. Although sesquiterpene lactones probably play the largest role in the mechanism of action, there are also indications that other components - including flavonglycosides, polyacetylenes and caffeic acid derivatives - contribute largely to the whole.
Dosage
- Optimal dosage is 1 -Administer 3 times a day.
- If this is not possible, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum daily dose.
- Horse: 20 drops.
- Pony: 15 to 20 drops.
- For preventive use, administer 1-2 times a day.
- Horse: 15 drops.
- Pony: 10 drops.
- 20 drops is approximately 1ml.
Administration
During grazing, during risky periods, when the grass contains a high fructan content. Give this product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal because the product works better if it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of treat.
For healthy hooves, the ration should be adjusted, provide good quality hay and avoid concentrates. Lighting also needs to be done. Placing the horse in wet sand also provides relief from the complaints. When Pure Nature Podo is applied preventively, start in the spring, 3 days before grazing. It is therefore recommended to administer a course of Pure Natural Drainage.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of the treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If improvement continues, continue administering this product for a few days.
In case of prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be required initially, but this product can safely be given in double doses. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose. This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to take a break week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This means that the incentive can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.
Storage advice
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product in a dry place and at a temperature between 5-20 C. Keep out of the reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.
Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without objection in combination with other natural health products and regular medicines.

Contraindications
Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
Side effects
To date, side effects of this product are not known. or reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal reacts to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually build up again.
