Slim Water-Activated Cooling Rug

Smart water-activated cooling rug, designed to provide mild cooling. Ideal for use alongside other cooling methods such as rehydration, shade, hosing and walking to help prevent overheating and dehydration.

The unique water-activated crystals in the lining swell and remain cool once immersed in water. The rug is not fully lined, allowing for improved evaporation and breathability. The lightweight, breathable mesh outer fabric promotes airflow to help dissipate heat and enhance evaporative cooling.

Before first use, soak the rug in water for 4 hours to activate the cooling crystals. The rug can be reactivated repeatedly by soaking it in water.

Not suitable for turnout. Never leave your horse unattended while wearing this rug.

Care & Advice

• Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle using a non-biological detergent.
• Hang to air dry.
• Reshape while the rug is still damp.
• Do not iron.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not bleach.
• Remove loose hair and dirt before washing.
• Fasten all closures before washing.
• Professional cleaning is recommended to help extend the lifespan of the rug.
