Can this drinker be connected to an IBC vessel?

Drinking troughs that are connected to an IBC tank must be suitable for low pressure. This drinking trough has a high pressure float, so it will not be suitable.

What is the size of the portion the horses drink from? The length x the width of the part where the water stands?

Dimensions that are too complete are L x W x H: 26 x 18 x 13 cm and the dimensions of the drinking area separately are L x W x H: 17 x 28 x 9 cm.
