What does it do?
Our Half Pad Impact Equalizer absorbs all shocks and ensures even pressure distribution. This not only relieves the horse's back, but also that of the rider. The horse can move more freely because the half pad helps to tighten and relax the muscles. In the long run this will make for a more flexible horse. How does it work?
The half pad is made of memory foam and 3D spacer. The combination of these materials creates a shock-absorbing pad. The memory foam ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed and constantly adapts to the horse's back. The 3D spacer provides ventilation on the back due to its air-permeable properties. By using these materials, we have created a half pad that is 20 to 30% lighter than most other half pads. Not only is the pad lighter, but it also provides a close contact feeling which leads to better communication while riding.

What's in it?
Kentucky Horsewear uses a memory foam that is also used for military and protective equipment. This allows the pad to protect your horse in the same way. The 3D spacer is a 3D honeycomb structure with a damping effect, which provides shock absorbing performance. The material is very breathable and ensures that the horse's back does not overheat. As a result, there will be no irritation to the back. The recess for the withers is made of artificial leather and provides comfort because there is less pressure on the spine. To ensure that the half pad does not slide away while driving, the pad has a silicone grip pattern. Furthermore, the half pad is finished with a chic artificial leather edge.

Care instructions for the Half impact equalizer
The saddle pad is washable at 30 degrees. Remove the memory foam on the inside before washing. Do not put it in the dryer.
