HORKA Backprotector Black

The HORKA back protector offers protection at the back and front, just like a regular body protector.
The EN 1621-2, level 2 standard applies to back protectors.
This protector and standard are taken from motorsport, because equestrian sports do not yet have its own European certification for this type of protector. In motorsport, similar levels of impact occur during a fall, which is why this type is allowed in equestrian sports.
The aim of several parties is to use one and the same certification for this within a few years, in order to provide clarity in the market.
The back protector is increasingly used in equestrian sports, because it offers even more flexibility and wearing comfort than the body protector.
The EVA foam parts are also perforated, which provides improved ventilation compared to protectors with fixed foam blocks.

Product specifications:
- Washing instructions: 30 degrees in the washing machine. *
* Most foam parts can be removed so that the back protector can be put in the washing machine.
