Affordable, good quality chaps. After all, I've been using exactly the same ones for 20 years, in a different color, and I've washed them many times, and they really needed to be replaced. I just bought the same brand and size just in a different color and they fit well. I have slim legs and they fit well in size Large. If you have strong legs, you will need one size larger.

Fine chaps

Purchased because of the favourable price, for a daughter who is still growing. Nice quality, were comfortable, could well last another round when she had grown out. Fairly tight, nice for kids with thin legs, less suitable for children with big calves.

You can't go wrong with chaps.

As a beginner, I see no difference between all the chaps that are available. And then they are all 30 euro. I found the size chart difficult to read because of the image quality and that's where it went wrong. I had a calf circumference of 37 cm and neatly looked for 37 in the second column. Wrong, then. I should have looked in the fourth column. These chaps are nice because you can easily reach the zipper.

Too small around the calf and a size larger came out too high, but I always have more trouble finding a good size with chaps so it will be difficult for me

Hereby the size chart: 6 years: 27 cm height, 23-27 width 8 years: 30 cm height, 24-28 cm width 10 years: 32 cm height, 25-28 cm width 12 years: 33 cm height, 26-29 width S: 40 cm height, 31-33 cm width M: 41 cm height, 32-35 cm width L: 42 cm height, 33-36 cm width XL: 43 cm height, 35-37 cm width XXL: 46 cm height, 37-41 cm wide.

How do I read the size chart exactly in relation to the width? E.g. 32 - 35 cm. is that measured in the middle and at the top or is that with and without stretching of the elastic part?

You can adjust it. This is therefore the minimum length and maximum length. Measured at the thickest point of your calf.
