Groene Os Strong Hoof Gel

On our wet, soggy soil, it is sometimes quite a challenge to keep your horse's hooves healthy. And healthy hooves are essential for horses, as they stand most of the day.
A wet soil and/or stable can have a negative effect on the hooves.
Means against this are often aggressive or they do not work.

The Japanese professor (Dr. Teruo Higa) started researching from a much broader perspective which micro-organisms occur in a healthy soil. Based on his findings, he has developed products based on EM® cultures or Effective Microorganisms.

The micro-organisms contained in these EM® cultures are lactic acid bacteria, yeasts and phototrophic bacteria (these are bacteria that obtain energy from light). These cultures can be used in many areas. Think of soil improvement, cleaning of the house, garden and stables, animal care and the purification of water.

The Strong Hoof Gel can be used:

  • to keep the beam smooth and resilient
  • to support whiteline health
  • to strengthen horn and sole

The use of EM® cultures strengthens the already present healthy bacteria: just as probiotics stimulate the healthy growth of intestinal bacteria, the EM® cultures promote the growth of the beneficial bacteria in the environment around us.

Our new product, Strong Hoof Gel, is based on those EM® cultures. These improve the bacterial environment in the hoof, so that harmful bacteria no longer have a chance.
By using Strong Hoof Gel regularly on your horse's hooves, you can easily use the probiotic substances to help keep the hooves healthy.
