Groene Os Muscle Support Horse & Pony

Muscle Support is a unique combination of amino acids and other nutrients necessary for healthy muscles. Muscle Support supports energy management and fat to muscle tissue ratio and supports increasing muscle strength and muscle mass. This puts less strain on the joints. This dietary supplement also contributes to healthy endurance and normal recovery after illness, surgery and physical exercise.

Performance, recovery and coordination of the muscles depend, among other things, on the right building materials, especially when an animal is exposed to greater stress (e.g. at work or during sport).

When does additional protein make sense?

In many situations it can make sense to provide additional support for the muscles. For example:

  1. Growth phase:&nbsp:Young animals in the growth phase need additional proteins for the healthy development of muscles, bones and other tissues. At this stage, protein supplementation can help ensure the animal receives all the necessary nutrients. But a good balance is important here: it is easy to give too much protein and that is not good for the young animal. Get advice if you would like to administer additional protein at this stage of life.

  2. High Activity: Animals that engage in intense activities such as sports, competitions, or work (e.g., sport horses, police dogs, or working dogs) may benefit from additional protein to maintain muscle mass and the Promote regeneration.

  3. Illness or Recovery:&nbsp:Animals recovering from illness, injury or surgery may require additional protein to aid the recovery process and prevent muscle loss.

  4. Pregnancy and lactation:&nbsp:Pregnant and lactating animals have an increased need for proteins to support the development of the fetus and young animal and to produce milk.

  5. Seniors:&nbsp:Older animals may have difficulty maintaining muscle mass and strength. Adding extra protein to your diet can help prevent muscle loss and support overall health.

  6. Obesity and weight loss:&nbsp:Older animals regularly develop osteoarthritis symptoms. And there is often obesity. It is then important that you lose fat but retain your muscles. Therefore, adding additional protein can help here.

Usage:

Not only is protein needed to build muscle, training is also necessary for this buildup.

What's inside

L-Leucine:&nbsp:Leucine is a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) that plays a crucial role in stimulating protein synthesis in muscle cells. It is considered a key switch that activates the processes that lead to muscle growth and regeneration.

L-Isoleucine:&nbsp:Another BCAA, isoleucine, also supports protein synthesis and energy production. It is used along with leucine to maximize muscle benefits.

L-Valine:&nbsp:The third BCAA, valine, helps regulate the body's nitrogen balance and is used as an energy source during intense physical activity.

L-Lysine:&nbsp:Lysine is involved in the formation of collagen, a structural protein that is important for the health of tendons, ligaments and bones. It is also important for the absorption of calcium and the formation of muscle proteins.

L-Methionine:Methionine provides sulfur, which is important for the production of other amino acids and antioxidants. It is also a precursor to cysteine, an amino acid involved in the formation of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant.

L-Threonine:Threonine is necessary for the formation of collagen and elastin, essential proteins for the skin and connective tissue. It also supports immune system function and overall growth and development.

L-Lysine, L-Methionine and L-Threonine are the fastest limiting amino acids, which is why they should not be missing in a protein formula.

L-Tryptophan:Tryptophan is important for the synthesis of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in regulating mood and well-being. It can also help regulate appetite and promote relaxation and sleep.

Magnesium citrate:&nbsp:Magnesium is an essential mineral that is needed for the relaxation of muscle cells.

Sacharomyces cerevisieae:&nbsp:Yeast extract, rich in highly digestible essential amino acids.

Fenugreek:&nbsp:Trigonella foenum-graecum is a small plant with a very wide range of different benefits. For example, it can help build and maintain strong muscles.
