Groene Os Cox Compositum Dog/Cat

Tincture against persistent symptoms. Protective and vitalizing in old age.

Product Description
The enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX) plays an essential role in making prostaglandin, which in turn is important for the whole body. Painkillers such as NSAIDs inhibit the action of COX and thus also the formation of prostaglandin. However, there are 2 types of COX enzymes. Inhibition of COX type1 can favor a sensitive gastrointestinal system. COX Compositum has no adverse effects on mucous membranes.

COX Compositum contains herbs that have a soothing effect on a rigid musculoskeletal system (the whole of bones, joints, muscles, tendons and motor nerves that provide body posture and movements). The product has a beneficial effect on general health and on the signs of aging.

The added strong antioxidants protect against tissue damage. It also has a mild relaxing and invigorating effect. COX Compositum can be used for a long time: it has no adverse effects on the platelets and gastrointestinal wall.

COX Compositum is packed with antioxidants and protects cells and tissues.

COX Compositum contains herbs that support your animal to grow old with vitality. This herbal tincture has a pleasant smell and taste.

COX Compositum is often used together with Glucosamine Complex.

Dog rose (Rosa canina) is rich in vitamin C and a strong antioxidant.

Details and interactions
Do not give in renal impairment. Do not use during pregnancy or lactation, unless otherwise prescribed by a veterinarian or therapist. COX Compositum can be combined with most medications without any problems, but if you have any doubts about this, please contact us.

The literature is not unequivocal about combining Boswellia and NSAIDs. Boswellia may enhance the effect of NSAIDs and in theory Boswellia has a blood thinning effect. We advise to reduce the NSAIDs in consultation with the attending veterinarian and to build up COX Compositum at the same time.

COX Compositum can be used for chronic symptoms and can therefore be used as a supportive therapy in addition to other nutritional supplements. It can be well combined with Glucosamine Complex.

Use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the vet or therapist.
