cdVet EquiGreen Breeding mare Mix
EquiGreen BroodmareMix has been developed to support nutritionally related fertility of the mare. This special mixture can promote blood flow to the uterus, strengthen their muscles and thus relieve the course of pregnancy and the subsequent birth of the mare. EquiGreen BroodmareMix compensates for nutritional imbalances in the last weeks of pregnancy and the first phase of lactation and stimulates the metabolism, because these herbs are missing on almost all pastures.
Feeding the mare for the fertilized:
Feeding the Güsten mare must be adapted to the actual energy and micronutrient needs. Was the mare active in sport or has a foal at the foot or already had several pregnancies, then feeding is even more important. Nutritional deficiencies caused by stress, breeding or sport will have to be compensated for before breeding in order to promote the chance of good absorption and healthy foal development.
Herbs and fertility:
To support fertility, there are many herbs that can stimulate the female hormone balance. Phytohormone, vegetable hormone-like substances, can do good here. The mantle of women can regulate hormone levels and ovulation as well as the production of the milk. Corpus luteum positively influences the nesting of the eggs. The acid of nettle and others. can nutritionally support the uterine tissue in its condition and thereby contribute to birth and delivery. Chamomile, traditionally also called feverfew, can contribute nutritionally to a physiological drift of the placenta (afterbirth).
In addition, the minerals, trace elements and vitamins present in herbs can compensate for the herbal poverty in today's pastures.
Fertility vitamins:
It has long been known that carrots B-Carotin contain vitamin A for its fertility-promoting effect. In the summer months, in the meadow, the facility is best with fresh grass, later on hay feeding. High B carotene values are only found in fresh hay because the value decreases sharply during winter storage. A deficiency can lead to a reduction in the gonads and thus loss of fertility. Other signs are a weak or late stallion with often missing ovulation. During the development of the embryo, a deficiency can lead to malformations or even death of the fruit. An additional diet with B-Carotin before conception and during pregnancy is therefore recommended.
In case of poor fertility, cdVet recommends the addition of EquiGreen BroodmareMix at least 3 to 4 weeks before mating. Continue to feed until the mare is pregnant for at least 3 weeks. In addition, optimal care with fertility-stimulating vitamins and minerals can reduce the probability of an embryonic death of the fruit.
