Unfortunately, the chin chain protector...

Unfortunately, the chin chain protector is much too wide for a normal chin chain. It always slips under the chain and that is of course not the point and purpose of the schooner. I wouldn't buy this one anymore. The quality is good, that's why the 3 stars.

Nice protector, nice and soft and stays in place. Only use it with my kaptoom. Too warm for the bridle and makes that bridle no longer fit properly due to its thickness.

I used this when my horse had a wound under his chin but because of the fur, he could simply wear his bridle without a problem. Also wide enough to protect the chin from a curb chain.
