Application
Get the dog used to dental care as early as possible (as a puppy)
Use the longer instrument with the flat, beveled end on the top of the tartar and pull it downwards (away from the gums) in a quick but gentle motion
Repeat until the tartar is completely removed
Using the pointed instrument, the tartar in the spaces between the teeth and in the tooth grooves can be removed. The flat end of this instrument is ideal for the inside of the teeth due to the stronger curvature
Mirror symmetry for use in both the upper and lower jaw and both left and right
