Advantage Advantage 40 Spot-On Dog <4kg 4 Pipettes

Advantage Spot-on Dog 40 <4kg 4 Pipettes combats fleas in dogs older than 8 weeks and lighter than 4kg.
This package contains 4 pipettes (for dogs from 25 kg).

Duration of action: 4 weeks.
Rapid prevention and control of biting lice. Advantage can also be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of flea allergy skin infections. Fleas are killed within 24 hours of Advantage administration.
The active substance in Advantage is Imidacloprid, with Buthylhydroxytoluene (E321) and Benzyl alcohol as excipients.

Contraindications:
Do not administer to puppies less than 8 weeks of age.
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Do not administer to cats as this may lead to overdose. Use the special flea control for cats.

Side effects:
Due to its bitter taste, the product can cause excessive salivation when the dog licks the application site immediately after treatment. This symptom often disappears on its own without treatment. Skin reactions such as hair loss, redness, itching and skin lesions are very rarely noticed. Very exceptionally salivary and nervous symptoms (incoordinations, tremor and depression) have also been reported in dogs. If you notice any serious side effects or reactions not listed in the package leaflet, please inform the vet.

Dosage and method of administration:
Advantage 40 for dogs Advantage 40 for dogs between 4-10kg body weight. 1 pipette corresponds to 1.0ml and contains 0.4 Imidacloprid and 1.0mg E321.
Advantage 250 for dogs between 10-25kg body weight. 1 pipette corresponds to 2.5ml and contains 250mg Imidacloprid and 2.5mg E321.
Advantage 400 for dogs> 25kg body weight. 1 pipette corresponds to 4.0ml and contains 400mg Imidacloprid and 4.0mg E321.
For dogs heavier than 40kg, use two pipettes Advantage 400 for dogs.
The spot-on liquid in the pipette should be completely emptied onto the skin between the shoulder blades. The liquid should penetrate gently into the skin and do not massage.
