Potential for a good single with a few improvements

I thought this single was ideal but because of a few points, I wouldn't recommend it. The material of the girth is very supple and soft, which can of course be an advantage, but 2 disadvantages are that the pressure of the nylon straps is not distributed over the width of the girth. For me, the 2 ends of the girth also slide back while driving, so that the buckles are on the edge of the girth or even bare on the coat. With extra loops to insert the girth before it goes through the buckle, this could already be solved. Personally, I also have the idea that the metal attachment of the movable nylon straps causes extra pressure on the sternum (where the girth already provides the most pressure when it is attached). On the side of the hull, the girth provides less pressure and these attachment points would therefore be more horse-friendly.

Convenient to use

Singel is of good quality. Because the buckles can move relative to each other, it takes some getting used to. The advantage if your horse swings when girdling, this allows you to close 1 buckle for a while. And then add the second buckle after a few steps.
