The link between silicon and sand eating
There are different forms of silicon, including silicon oxide. This is the main component of sand. If horses eat sand, a deficiency of this mineral could be the cause! This also explains why Silicium+ is successfully used in many horses to tackle sand licking and eating.

Silicon for young, pregnant and old
A foal receives a supply of silicon from its mother. During growth, it makes full use of this! This also means that as a horse gets older, it contains less and less silicon. For pregnant mares, young horses and older horses, Silicium+ is a great supplement to replenish their silicon needs!

Feeding advice
Distribute evenly over the feed. Shake before use.
The dosage may be doubled if needed.

Horse 450 – 600 kg 15ml
Pony up to 450 kg 7.5ml
Can also be given to pregnant mares.
Store Silicium+ in a cool, dry and dark place. This product will not change shape at slightly colder temperatures.
