The snaffle bit is a standard jaw piece. This jawpiece has loose rings which allow the bit to move more freely in the mouth, so many horses accept this bit well. To prevent skins from getting between the moving rings, it is recommended to provide the bit with bit rings. Small rings have a more direct effect of the aids than larger rings. The smaller the rings, the more pressure is transferred to a smaller surface. Nice bit for a stronger horse.
