Biotin is found in almost all body cells and is important for complete metabolism, a stable central nervous system and maintaining stable blood sugar levels.

Biotin is essential for the formation and strength of keratin tissue. This is the material that makes up skin, hair and hooves. Biotin is needed for the formation of a kind of 'cement' that firmly 'glues' all the cells in the hoof together and ensures a strong structure of the hoof.
