Price/quality is great. The belly flap for my 173 year old kwpn-er is far too big. I even added other singles. With the supplied leg straps, the blanket is always crooked, with a leg strap, the blanket stays in place better.

Great! We have a lot of flies this year, which made our gentlemen extremely annoyed. Now they're wearing the blanket and lo and behold, there's peace. One or the other stray single fly is elegantly waved away.

I bought the fly blanket...
I bought the fly blanket for my Icelander and it fits really well overall. The material is pleasantly lightweight, fits right over the back and shoulders, and the blanket stays neatly laid even when rolling over. It's lasted over a week now — based on the first impression, that's already more than I expected. What is really disappointing, however, are the seams: The first seam cracked on the first day, even though the plastic fasteners should have been the weak point. I had to repair the ceiling myself — and shortly after, the next seam broke. For a product that is intended to endure daily use on horses, this is simply unacceptable. Another point: The waist belt is pretty tight at the back, which is a bit unpleasant, especially with my “old-school” (compact build) Icelander. More adjustment options would be desirable here. Conclusion: If the seams were reinforced and the cut on the stomach was a bit more flexible, it would make a really good blanket. So unfortunately only recommended with drawbacks.

I would like to order 2 of these blankets, but I'm not sure which size to take. It concerns 2 KWPN mares, height at the withers approx. 168. Thank you in advance.
A size chart is visible in the last photo. The easiest way is to measure the lengths of your horses and see which size fits best. Length A is measured from the withers to the base of the tail, length B is measured from the center of the chest to the tail.
