PUUR Magnesium Horse/Pony

Is your horse feeling a bit low? PUUR Magnesium might be just what they need. This 500g jar of goodness supports your horse or pony's muscles and general mood. Ideal for keeping your equine friend in top shape!

Composition (per 5 grams)
You'll find 800mg of magnesium (as magnesium citrate) in every 5 grams of this product.

Magnesium deficiency can lead to all sorts of niggles like stiff muscles, tiredness, and even changes in behaviour. It's also crucial for the gut, bones, and central nervous system. Common symptoms of magnesium deficiency include tight muscles, lethargy, a dip in appetite, and general weakness.

But that's not all! Magnesium is a bit of a multi-tasker, activating tons of enzymes and playing a part in many body processes. It helps in energy production and glucose metabolism, and it's essential for building strong bones and teeth.

Dosage
Give your horse the optimal dosage twice a day. If that's tricky, once a day (or even once every two days) works too. Just make sure to give the maximum daily dose.
- Horse: 1 scoop
- Pony: 2/3 scoop
- 1 scoop equals about 5 grams.

Administration
Mix the powder with food and moisten it, so it doesn’t blow away. Always ensure your horse has high-quality feed. If there's no improvement, or the issues keep popping up, have a chat with your vet.

Duration of treatment
For acute issues, treatment might be short, from a few days to three weeks. If improvement is seen, keep going for a few more days.
For long-term matters, you'll usually see a difference within 1 to 3 weeks. If things are looking up, you can move to a maintenance dose, usually half of the regular dose. Watch your horse's reaction and adjust as needed.

Storage advice
Keep it out of direct sunlight and store it in a cool, dry place between 5-20°C. Keep it away from kids. The expiration date is on the label and box.

Contraindications
If your mare is pregnant or lactating, check with your vet first.

Side effects
