Description:
PhytoTreat Glucosamine Extra is a dietary supplement for supple joints of dogs with high doses of glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM enriched with hydrolysed collagen and plant extracts for improved performance. Glucosamine and chondroitin are essential building blocks for the construction and maintenance of articular cartilage. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a natural source of organic sulfur. Sulfur helps the production of collagen, an important component of cartilage and connective tissue. Only in high doses has it been shown that these substances help to maintain the joint function. PhytoTreat Glucosamine Extra also contains a naturally hydrolysed collagen and extracts from Devil's Claw, Ponytail and Nettle for extra preservation of healthy cartilage and flexible joints.

Use / dosage:
Glucosamine Extra is a tasty tablet and can be given as a treat or crumbled and mixed with the normal diet. The recommended dose is 1 tablet per day for dogs up to 10 kg body weight, 2 tablets per day for dogs 10-20 kg body weight, 3 tablets per day for dogs 20-40 kg body weight and 4 tablets per day for dogs with a body weight more than 40 kg or as recommended by your veterinarian. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
After 4 to 6 weeks you can gradually reduce the dose by half a tablet per week until half of the initial dose has been reached. When returning the complaints, the dose should be increased again.

Warnings:
Do not use in case of a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.

Composition per tablet:
Glucosamine sulphate 2KCl (500 mg), chondroitin sulphate (380 mg), methylsulphonylmethane (380 mg), hydrolysed collagen (69 mg), devil's claw root extract (45 mg), horsetail herbal extract (45 mg) and nettle dry extract (45 mg) .
