The PharmaHorse Protein Booster also helps lean horses gain weight, but make sure that there is sufficient exercise/training when feeding a high protein content.

Dosage :
Average labor 50-100 grams per 100 kg of body weight.
Heavy work, a protein too short and/or protein booster 100-200 grams per 100 kg body weight.

Nutrition during lactation
In the first days, a mare produces about eight liters of milk per day, which goes up to twenty liters. A shortage of proteins is disastrous and will lead to reduced milk production.

A mare literally needs twice as much energy and protein than a mare without a foal .

Instructions:
