Keep your horse's blankets in top shape with the Nikwax Rug Wash. This eco-friendly wash is perfect for all technical and breathable materials, maintaining their functionality while being gentle on the environment. It's ideal for materials like Sympatex and neoprene too. Each bottle contains enough for about six blankets (1 litre).

Effective and Gentle Cleaning
Nikwax Rug Wash™ is not just another cleaner. It revitalises the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of your horse's blankets and improves their breathability, keeping your horse dry and comfy even in the rain. It also helps prevent condensation inside the blankets.

Easy to Use
No more hassles with hand washing. Just pop one blanket into the washing machine, add 150ml of the Nikwax Rug Wash™, and let the machine do the work. Make sure your washing machine has no soap residue left and follow the washing instructions.

Manual Wash Instructions
If you prefer washing by hand, wear gloves and spread the blanket on a clean surface. Wet the blanket thoroughly, mix 1 part Rug Wash™ with 2 parts water, and use a brush to clean the blanket. Rinse well with clean water and hang to dry or tumble dry on low if allowed.

Keep Your Horse's Blankets in Top Shape
For best results, use Nikwax Rug Proof™ to impregnate your horse's blankets at least once a year. There's no need to dry the blankets between washes.
