Thyme as a supplement for horses
Thyme is a strongly scented herb from the lip flower family. It is a commonly used herb in the kitchen, but also has beneficial properties and can therefore be used as a natural supplement for horses. For example, thyme is rich in the essential oil thymol. Thymol has strong antibacterial properties and is therefore very suitable to support the throat and airways when needed. In addition, thyme has a stimulating and supportive effect on a horse's digestion and contributes to good resistance.

When can I give thyme to a horse?
HorseFlex Thyme is an ideal herb to support your horse in a natural way. Could your horse use some extra respiratory support? Thyme has a protective and soothing effect on the mucous membranes of the airways and thus offers support to your horse when you need extra support during, for example, a cold, reduced resistance or hypersensitivity. Moreover, it is a suitable herb for horses that can use some extra support in digestion. The herb has a positive effect on appetite and bowel movements and also has a soothing effect on your horse's stomach and intestines.

Dosage
HorseFlex Thyme can easily be added to the horse's ration. A measuring spoon is included with this product and contains approximately 11 grams.

Horse or pony up to 350 kg: 7.5 grams per day.
Horse above 350 kg: 15 grams per day.
