I have bought tail straps before and in my experience, they always look quite big in size shet/pony. However, this one is really meant for minishetlanders/mini couples. Our shetlander would fit him best in terms of length but the part that goes around the root of the tail is very small and the buckles are close to that, which would irritate it. So a return for me. But for someone who is really looking for a small tail belt with a smaller arch for the root of the tail, this is an ideal item. The leather feels a bit cheap but in relation to the price, you can't expect any better quality either and the price/quality ratio is fine.

How long is the shortest and the longest buckling?
adjustable from 52 to 60 cm. But you could either on the belt is closed on the saddle, as well as around the tail is led to add at least one hole at a time.
