The snuffelmat has been developed to mentally stimulate horses and ponies and prevent boredom. This mat stimulates the natural foraging behaviour (sniffing behaviour) of horses, because they have to make an effort to eat all the goodies from the mat. Ideal for use to prevent boredom or to reward horses in a playful way. The mat is made of soft silicone and is therefore also suitable for sensitive horse noses.

Use

Place the snuffelmat on a flat surface and fill it with treats, such as slobber, chunks, muesli, rosehips or pieces of fruit or vegetables. Use the snuffle mat only under supervision, and gradually introduce your horse to the product by starting with a few treats on the snuffle mat. 

After use, the mat can be easily hung up (for example with a carabiner), thanks to the hole in the corner, so that the mat can be rinsed and air-dried.
